Ukraine increased finished steel output in 2010 by 9% YoY

It is reported that in 2010 Ukrainian integrated iron and steel mills increased pig iron production by 6.5% compared to 2009 to 27.354 million tons, crude steel by 9.6% to 32.726 million tons, finished steel products by 9% to 29.197 million tons.
In December 2010 pig iron production in Ukraine increased by 1% compared to November to 2.4 million tons, finished steel output also increased by 1%, to 2.647 million tons, while smelted steel remained on the same level as in November - 2.9 million tons. (Ugmk.info)
