In March 2013 Ukraine's exports of steel products increased by 4% MoM to 2.023 million tons.

In January-March Ukraine exported 5.880 million tons of steel products, up by 8.6% YoY.

In March Ukraine registered a 3.3% increase MoM in its steel product imports to 112,300 tons.

Ukraine steel exports up in Q1 2013

According to statistics, Ukraine exported around 2.023 million tons of steel products in March, up by 4% from February.

In March the country imported 112,300 tons of steel products, up by 3.3% from the previous month.

In the Q1 of 2013 Ukraine’s exports of steel products amounted to 5.88 million tons, increasing by 8.6% YoY.

In the given period the country imported 305,100 tons of steel products, slumping by 26.1% in comparison of the figures in the same period of the previous year. (SteelGuru)

Ukraine flat steel imports increased by 19.2% in January-February 2013

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in the January-February period of 2013 Ukraine registered a 19.2% increase YoY in its flat steel imports, to 126,200 tons.
In February alone Ukraine's flat steel imports increased by 41.6% compared to January, to 73,970 tons.
On the other hand, in the first two months of this year Ukraine's flat steel exports increased by 10% YoY to 1.075 million tons.

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in January Ukrainian exports of long steel products decreased by 5.1% MoM to 481,120 tons totaling $301.92 million in value.

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in 2012 Ukraine registered an 8.8% increase year on year in its flat steel imports to 1.002 million tons. In December 2012 Ukraine's flat steel imports decreased by 11.9% compared to November to 69,190 tons.
