Petrovsky increased pig iron output in January 2014

In January EVRAZ – Dniepropetrovsk Iron and Steel Works named after Petrovsky decreased its rolled metal output by 7%, to 69 thousand tons, as compared with January 2013.

The works kept its steel smelting at the January 2013 level (82 thousand tons) and increased pig iron output by 4.9%, to 79 thousand tons.

In December 2013 the company produced 65 thousand tons of pig iron, 67 thousand tons of steel and 71 thousand tons of rolled metal.

In January 2014 the works planned to produce 73 thousand tons of steel and 71 thousand tons of pig iron. (Ukrainian metal)
