Steel smelting increased by 10.4%, to 271 thousand
tons, while pig iron manufacture rose by 8.1%, to 236 thousand tons.
In January the company planned to produce 260 thousand
tons of steel and 227 thousand tons of pig iron.
In December 2013 the works produced 232 thousand tons
of rolled metal, 243 thousand tons of steel and 218 thousand tons of pig iron.
In February Yenakievo Iron and
Steel Works plans to produce 230 thousand tons of steel and 205 thousand tons of pig iron. (Ukrainian
