Ukraine boosts manganese output

In May Ukrainian companies produced 136.6 thousand tons of manganese concentrate and sinter, up by 12.8%, or by 15.5 thousand tons, MoM.

According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, May output of manganese sinter increased by 0.3%, or by 0.1 thousand tons, to 35.6 thousand tons, while manganese concentrate manufacture went up by 18%, or by 15.4 thousand tons, to 101 thousand tons.

In January-May Ukraine produced 491.5 thousand tons of manganese concentrate and sinter, up by 8.6%, or by 39.1 thousand tons, YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
