Ukrainian semi-finished steel imports in October up by 21% MoM

It is reported that in October Ukraine’s semi-finished steel product imports saw an increase of 21% MoM and a 127.4% YoY growth to 49,800 tons of which 42,810 tonnes were supplied from Russia, 6,730 tons were imported from Belarus and 190 tons were supplied from Germany.
Ukraine’s expenditure on imports of semi-finished steel products in October was up by 31% compared to September increasing to $32 million.
In January to October Ukraine’s imports of semi-finished steel products increased by about 78% YoY to 382,610 tons valued at $226 million. (SteelOrbis)
