Ukraine ferrous scrap exports decline by 28% in Q1
In the first 3 months of the current year Ukrainian exports of ferrous scrap decreased by 27.8% YoY to 68,090 tons.
According to the Ukrainian government, in March Ukraine exported 20,090 tons of ferrous scrap, down by 6.8% compared to February and marking a decrease of 60.4% YoY.

Ukraine scrap exports more than double in November from October
It is reported that in November Ukraine’s ferrous scrap exports saw an increase of 109% MoM, but down by 46.5% YoY to 51,540 tons with 48,510 tons delivered to Greece, 2,510 tons to Turkey, while the remaining volume of scrap was shipped to Hungary.
The value of Ukraine’s scrap export sales in November was up by 108% compared to October increasing to $16.75 million.
In January to November Ukraine’s scrap exports decreased by 26.6% YoY to 604,520 tons valued at about $196.4 million. (SteelGuru)

Ukrainian steel scrap exports in May down by 8% MoM
It is reported that in May this year Ukrainian ferrous scrap export was down by 8% MoM to 113,770 tons which however was up by 92.7% YoY. Meanwhile, the value of scrap export sales in May was down by 4.1% MoM declining to $39.99 million.

Ukrainian ferrous scrap export down by 25%
It is reported that ferrous scrap export from Ukraine in comparison to October has fallen by 25.8% to 96,400 tons. Revenue from scrap export decreased by $27.9 million to $24.16 million.
In comparison to November 2008 ferrous scrap export in November current year increased 5.5 times.
In 2008 Ukraine shortened ferrous scrap export by 6.7% against 2007 to 630,180 tons for $293.45 million. (Prime Tass)
