According to the data released by the metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company, in January to July Ukraine’s exports of steel products rose by 1.3% YoY increasing to 14.421 million tons. In July alone Ukraine’s steel product exports decreased by 21.6% compared to June, dropping to 1.835 million tons.
In the first seven months of the current year Ukraine registered a 7.4% YoY increase in its steel product imports to 965,000 tons. In July alone Ukraine’s steel product imports increased by 5.7% compared to June, rising to 161,000 tons. (SteelOrbis)
