Zaporizhstal increased output in 2013

According to the Zaporizhstal own information, in 2013 the works increased steel smelting by 0.9%, to 3.82 million tons, pig iron output – by 0.8%, to 3.219 million tons, and rolled metal manufacture by 2.4%, to 3.225 million tons, all YoY.

In December 2013 rolled metal output increased by 11.9%, to 292.8 thousand tons, steel smelting rose by 8%, to 333.7 thousand tons and production of pig iron grew by 13.1%, to 284.4 thousand tons, all compared with December 2012.

In 2012 Zaporizhstal increased pig iron output by 5.1%, to 3.194 million tons, but decreased steel smelting by 0.7%, to 3.785 million tons, and pig iron production by 0.7%, to 3.149 million tons, as compared with 2011.
