In January 2014 Zaporizhstal produced more steel and rolled metal

In January Zaporizhstal Iron and Steel Works reached an increase in its output: pig iron manufacture rose by 1.7%, that of steel – by 2.3%, while rolled metal production increased by 3.9%.

In January the works produced 283.8 thousand tons of pig iron, 336.6 thousand tons of steel and 293.4 thousand tons of rolled metal.

In 2013 Zaporizhstal increased its rolled metal output by 2.4%, to 3.22 million tons, steel manufacture – by 0.9%, to 3.82 million tons, while its pig iron production rose by 0.8%, to 3.21 million tons, all YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
