Ukraine increases manganese concentrate output in Q1 2014

In January-March Ordzhonikidze and Marganets Mining and Processing Works (OGOK and MGOK respectively), that mine and process manganese ore, increased their total output of manganese concentrate by 11.4%, to 183.3 thousand tons, YoY.

OGOK didn’t work in January-February 2013 and 2014, while MGOK was idle in December 2013 and February 2014.

In three months MGOK increased its manganese concentrate output by 31%, to 170.8 thousand tons, while OGOK decreased its manufacture by 63.5%, to 12.5 thousand tons.

At the same time OGOK increased its manganese sinter output 2.4 times, to 50.5 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
