Donetsk Electrometallurgical Plant working again

On September, 23^rd, DEMZ started working again. In August Mechel sold DEMZ to Vadim Vishnevskiy for 2 thousand euros. The buyer also has to pay all the DEMZ debts ($81 million) to Mechel.

Varshavskiy bought DEMZ in 2008 for $700 million, but couldn’t return the credit and the Plant was taken by Alfa-bank.

In May 2011 Mechel bought DEMZ for $537 million.

But at the end of September 2012 Mechel decided to sell it. (Ukrainian metal)
