Dniepropetrovsk region increases steel and ore output

In January-November metal companies of the Dniepropetrovsk region produced 10.5 million tons of steel (106.6% YoY), almost 9 million tons of iron ore (110.4%), 2.2 million tons of sinter (120%), 51.3 million tons of iron ore concentrate (102.4%), 9.1 million tons of rolled metal (102.5%) and 12 million tons of pellets (103.6%).

Pipe industry sees decrease in manufacture due to the worsening of relationship with Russia.

But some companies demonstrate considerable output increase.

Kominmet, JSC increased its production volumes in 11 months by 13.7%, Centravis Production Ukraine, JSC – by 17.9%, while Trubolit, JSC – by 31%.

After a seven-months halt the Dniepropetrovsk Pipe Works resumed production. (Ukrainian metal)
