Ukraine decreases average daily rolled metal output in December 2013

In 9 days of December Ukrainian metal companies decreased average daily output of rolled metal by 7.4%, to 68.9 thousand tons, compared to November.

Average daily pir iron output increased by 2.3%, to 79.7 thousand tons, while steel output rose by 0.6%, to 85.6 thousand tons.

As of December the 1^st, metal companies operated 29 out of 36 blast furnaces (81%), 19 out of 21 converters (90%), 9 out of 14 open-heart furnaces (64%) and 6 out of 15 electric furnaces (40%).(Ukrainian metal)
