In January-November 2013 Zaporizhstal increased output of steel

In January-November 2013 Zaporizhstal Integrated Iron and Steel Works increased steel output by 0.3%, to 3.486 million tons, pig iron production by 1.6%, to 2.932 million tons, but decreased pig iron output by 0.3%, to 2.935 million tons, all on YoY basis.

 

In November 2013 Zaporizhstal produced 250.6 thousand tons of pig iron, 279 thousand tons of steel and 199.1 thousand tons of rolled metal.

Decrease in production volumes in November 2013 as compared to November 2012 was due to a massive overhaul in blast furnace, roll and energy manufacture.

The works invested around 62.3 million UAH into the repair works. (Ukrainian metal)
