Mariupol Ilyich decreases output

In January Mariupol Iron and Steel Works named after Ilyich, a part of Metinvest, decreased its rolled metal output by 8.7%, to 326 thousand tons, as compared to January 2013.

Steel manufacture dropped by 13.5%, to 377 thousand tons, while pig iron output rose by 20.5%, to 442 thousand tons.

In December 2013 the company produced 347 thousand tons of rolled metal, 424 thousand tons of steel and 469 thousand tons of pig iron.

In February the works plans to produce 390 thousand tons of steel and 430 thousand tons of pig iron. (Ukrainian metal)
